31 THE CURATOR Marika Lion, has a great experience in the field of institutional communication and public affairs in art and culture. She began her career in a company belonging to the Montedison Group and then in Bonaparte48, with public-institutional tasks. Afterwards she has had leadership roles in the Finarte Auction House, Tecnoeurope, Benetton Foundation Cultural Initiatives, Villa Emo Foundation, Tsw, Artnetworth, etc. For the latter (an art financial boutique) and as CEO she organized the «Art Finance Forum» in Montecarlo, an international exclusive event dedicated to collection. She directed a modern sculpture series «Electa», the «ControCanto» series of the Piccola Biblioteca di Arti e Lettere , and is also the author of critical texts for art monographs. She teaches several specialisation courses and specialistic training courses at institutions with a private banking area. She teaches at the «MASVIC» Master – for the Creative Development and Management of Cultural Activities – Università Ca’ Foscari in Venice. Art Advisor for Wealth Management, CTU and is an expert of XIX-XXth century and modern Art. Curator of the Art column for the economics and finance FIRSTonline daily newspaper. Today she is an art consultant specifically in the financial and asset sectors. Curator for private archives and collections.
