5 The collection on display has been digitalized using sophisticated and innovative IT systems. It comprises a large number of documents and covers a long period of time. It brings together important, valuable and well preserved national and international company share certificates collected in special archives. A selection of the digitalized work carried out by the RFO Study and Research Centre of Milan shall be presented during the Milan Digital Week (from May 11 to May 15, 2020). Thanks to grants offered to young female “pupils” entering the labour market, they can participate in ad hoc digitalization projects, for the keeping, preservation, interpretation and enhancement of significant historical documents having a great historic, artistic and cultural value. The Head Arts and Culture Department, thanks to the Milan Study and Research Centre, has organized the “ Digitalization and Insurance ” initiative focusing on the phases of the digital filing. The event is accompanied by the publication of a Cahier (IX) containing a small, albeit very significant, part of the collection. Cristina Rossello
